A Natural & Editorial 35mm Film Wedding at Iscoyd Park
There’s something truly special about capturing a wedding on 35mm film. The texture, the tones, the feeling—it all blends together to create imagery that feels both nostalgic and incredibly authentic. Kim and Simon's beautiful wedding at Iscoyd Park in Whitchurch was the perfect celebration to shoot on analogue film, combining natural wedding photography with the timeless charm of editorial storytelling.
Getting Ready at Iscoyd Park
The day began at the elegant Iscoyd Park, a venue full of charm and character. Both Kim and Simon got ready on-site in separate parts of the house, surrounded by close family and friends. As Simon joined his groomsmen for drinks in the Library, Kim had a joyful morning preparing with her bridal party before an emotional first look with her bridesmaids. The quiet excitement in the air was the perfect energy to capture on film.
An Intimate Ceremony in The Drawing Room
Their ceremony took place in The Drawing Room—an intimate, light-filled space adorned with beautiful flowers in the bay window. With only their closest family and friends present, the atmosphere felt deeply personal. 35mm film beautifully preserved the soft light and warmth of this moment, highlighting the emotion and elegance of the setting.
Vintage Cars, Saxophones & Champagne Towers
After the ceremony, the couple stepped outside for relaxed portraits and a short drive in a classic vintage MG car. These candid, natural moments worked perfectly with the soft tones and nostalgic feel of film. The celebrations continued at The Coach House, where guests enjoyed live saxophone music and a vintage camper van photo booth—a fun and stylish twist that suited the editorial tone of the day.
Floral Magic & Evening Glow
The reception took place in the Marquee, beautifully styled in a square seating layout so everyone could see each other. A dramatic floral installation at the centre brought everything together. After heartfelt speeches, the evening celebrations began with sparklers under the night sky.
Kim slipped away for a quick outfit change and hair restyle before rejoining Simon for some flash-lit couple portraits in the Library. These editorial style images added a romantic, fashion forward edge to the gallery.
A Celebration of Space & Story
Kim and Simon made the most of every room at Iscoyd Park. The Drawing Room returned for a playful champagne tower moment with their guests, and The Garden Room set the scene for their cake cutting and first dance. Every part of the venue played a role in telling their love story.
If you're dreaming of a wedding that feels natural, elegant, and full of character, Iscoyd Park is a truly special setting. And if you're drawn to the timeless beauty of analogue photography, 35mm film is the perfect way to capture those moments in a way that feels as real as the day itself. I’d love to help tell your story with honest, artistic imagery that stands the test of time.
