I'm Sam.
Based in the North West of England and originally from the North East, I’m a wedding photographer with a love for thoughtful storytelling, beautiful light and celebrations filled with genuine connection. Inspired by wild coastlines, timeless design and the people at the heart of it all, my work is rooted in capturing weddings with honesty, elegance and intention.
My approach blends relaxed documentary photography with an editorial eye. I’m drawn to the meaningful in-between moments just as much as the carefully considered details. The movement of your dress, candlelit tablescapes, the texture of florals, fleeting glances and the atmosphere that makes your wedding uniquely yours. The result is a collection of images that feel timeless, emotive and beautifully understated.
While we’ll absolutely create elegant portraits and treasured family photographs, I never want your wedding to feel over-directed or interrupted. I work in a way that is unobtrusive yet intentional, giving you the space to fully enjoy your celebration while knowing every moment is being captured with care.
Outside of weddings, you’ll usually find me seeking out great independent coffee shops, looking for new items of homeware (usually candlesticks and cups for some reason?), travelling whenever possible, spending time with my cats or inevitably leaving IKEA with far more than I intended.

A Design Eye
Before finding my place in wedding photography, my background was rooted in the world of fashion and design. Studying Fashion Communication gave me a strong creative foundation, allowing me to explore styling, editorial publishing and print media, as well as assist on fashion editorials for brands such as MR PORTER.
With over 12 years in the creative industry and almost a decade photographing weddings, I’ve had the privilege of documenting everything from intimate gatherings to refined, large-scale celebrations. Holding a First-Class Degree in Fashion Communication and having worked with leading brands including MyProtein, LOOKFANTASTIC and Glossybox, my background has naturally shaped a refined, detail-focused approach to photography. What I value most is creating an experience that feels calm, personal and effortless. Allowing you to feel completely present while I capture your day as it naturally unfolds.
