Healey Barn & Healey Hall Wedding Photography | Fay & Chris


Back in March I visited the gorgeous Healey Barn for Fay & Chris's wedding. They started the day near-by at Healey House, the most perfect setting for the morning of the wedding. Their families had breakfast together before breaking into separate parts of the house to start getting ready.


Fay chose to open a bottle of fizz along with some fondant fancies from the iconic Bettys Cafe. In the background sat her amazing wedding flowers by Healey Flowers, that made the perfect surrounding for some detail photographs. I mixed together sentimental jewellery with some statement LK Bennett shoes in the most gorgeous blue colour.


Meanwhile, Chris was downstairs with his groomsmen making the most of the space at Healey Hall. He opened a gift from Fay which contained a custom pair of cufflinks before helping his groomsmen with their buttonholes.


Before leaving for the ceremony we had time for a few statement photographs of Fay in her timeless Sassi Holford dress, another perk of Healey Hall is definitely that gorgeous staircase!


Upon entering Healey Barn the room was bustling with chatting from guests and background music from the incredibly talented Alastair Grant. The high ceiling, rustic walls are super special, and the floristry work around the fireplace was unmissable.


After the intimate wedding ceremony I whisked Fay & Chris off for 5/10 minutes for some couples photos as the rain had started to ease, before getting them back to their reception to continue celebrations.


The reception room was styled beautifully, including prints on the tables from their pre-wedding photoshoot that they had earlier in the year in Northallerton. Into the evening drinks were flowing, and after a cutting of their cheese cake and a first dance, the night was ended with a late night snack and pizza making lesson by the brilliant Baz & Fred.
